No. in-boxed uses read-only access to your Gmail or Outlook account and only ever sees who sent you what, never the content of your messages. The scan runs in your browser and nothing is stored on our servers, after your session there is simply nothing left of you on our side.
Will my important emails be affected?+
No, and this is technically guaranteed. in-boxed only touches emails with a List-Unsubscribe header, the bulk-mail standard used by newsletters and marketing. Mail from real people, order confirmations and bank alerts never carry that header.
Does unsubscribing actually work?+
Yes. Under GDPR, every sender must act on your opt-out without undue delay, within one month at the latest. Under CAN-SPAM (US), senders have up to 10 business days. The signal we send is identical to clicking “unsubscribe” yourself, just sent to all senders at once.
