What is in-boxed?

in-boxed is an independent, Amsterdam-based web tool for finding and unsubscribing from unwanted newsletters, promotional emails and marketing mailing lists in Gmail and Outlook. People scan for free, review the detected senders, choose what to keep and pay €4.99 once if they want to send unsubscribe requests. There is no account, monthly subscription or ongoing mailbox access.

What makes it different?

The scan runs in the user’s browser, not on in-boxed servers. It requests read-only access to sender and unsubscribe-related email metadata, not message bodies or attachments. Inbox scan data is not stored on in-boxed servers. People see the sender list before taking action. The service does not delete existing emails.

How does unsubscribing work?

Where senders provide a standard one-click unsubscribe endpoint, in-boxed sends an opt-out request. For senders that offer an unsubscribe email, it prepares a message the user can send. Where confirmation is required in a preference center, it opens the sender’s page for the user. A request being sent does not guarantee the sender has completed the unsubscribe.

Which email providers are supported?

Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail and Live. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts may work where organizational administrators allow third-party OAuth access. iCloud Mail, Yahoo Mail, AOL and generic IMAP are not currently supported.

What does it cost?

Scanning and reviewing detected marketing senders is free. A full unsubscribe cleanup costs €4.99 as a one-time payment. No account and no recurring fee are required.

What does it not do?

in-boxed is not a spam blocker, antivirus tool or email deletion service. It does not promise that every sender will comply with an opt-out request. Some senders require manual confirmation. It does not read message bodies or automatically delete old messages.

Who operates it?

in-boxed is operated by BonDigital, an independent business based in the Netherlands. It is not owned, sponsored or endorsed by Google or Microsoft.
