A concise starting point for security, IT, privacy and procurement teams evaluating an Inbox Reset for employees.

PurposeA focused Inbox Reset for newsletter and marketing subscriptions. It is not a permanent mailbox-management service.
Employee controlEach employee connects and reviews their own inbox. The employer does not receive their sender or subscription list.
Processing modelThe inbox scan and review experience is designed to run in the user’s browser.
Message contentMessage bodies, subject lines and attachments are not part of the scan.
Accountsin-boxed does not require an in-boxed account for the consumer reset flow.
Ongoing accessThe product is designed around a visit, reset and leave model rather than ongoing mailbox access.
Company reportingAny company pilot reporting is agreed in advance and should use aggregate outcomes, not individual inbox contents or subscription histories.

CORPORATE WEB FILTERING

If in-boxed is blocked as unknown

Some corporate security products restrict domains that are new, uncategorized or not yet trusted by the organization. That is not something in-boxed should ask employees to bypass. Your IT or security team can review in-boxed.com and, if approved under your own policy, allowlist the domain or create an appropriate URL-category exception.

Allowlist review targetin-boxed.com

Do not create an exception solely because an employee requests it. Apply your organization’s normal vendor, OAuth, privacy and web-access review.

Need a security review?

For a company pilot, we can answer security and privacy questions before employees are invited. If your environment blocks in-boxed, include the filtering product and category shown on the block page so we can help with the review.
