Built out of frustration.

One morning I opened my Gmail and found 94 unread newsletters. I started manually unsubscribing — clicking, scrolling, waiting for confirmation pages, re-entering my email address — and gave up after 15 minutes.

The frustrating part: every single one of those emails already contained the information needed to opt out automatically. It's called a List-Unsubscribe header, it's been a standard since 1998, and Gmail even uses it for its own built-in unsubscribe button.

So I built Inboxed to do what Gmail does — but for your entire inbox at once.

How we think about privacy

Most email tools ask for full access to your inbox. They read your emails, store them, analyse them, and often share insights with third parties. We think that's wrong.

Inboxed requests read-only access to your Gmail metadata — specifically the List-Unsubscribe header and the From field. We never see the subject line, body, attachments, or any other content of your emails.

When your session ends, everything is deleted. We have no database. There is nothing to breach, sell, or lose. This isn't a promise — it's how the architecture works.
